Early Childhood Music Exploration
Interactive Group Music & Movement Sessions for Early Learners (Ages 3–6)
Looking to enrich your center’s curriculum with an engaging, screen-free creative arts program?
I specialize in bringing hands-on, developmentally appropriate music experiences directly into Early Childhood Education (ECE) classrooms. Designed specifically for preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten learners, these mobile sessions blend foundational music theory, motor skill development, and active play using trusted early childhood music methodologies.
Gross & Fine Motor Skill Milestones: Children practice bilateral integration and dexterity through guided instrument play, fingerplay exercises, and rhythmic movement.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Group music-making builds key SEL competencies including turn-taking, active listening, self-regulation, and co-regulation through shared tempo changes.
Cognitive & Expressive Language Development: Pattern recognition, steady beat tracking, and call-and-response vocalizations directly support early literacy, phonemic awareness, and linguistic confidence
Multi-Sensory & Scaffolding Pathways: Music is introduced through auditory, visual, and kinesthetic channels simultaneously. Concepts like pitch height are taught using hand signals, visual cards, and physical stretching before abstract musical ideas are introduced.
Co-Regulation Through Rhythm: Group rhythm activities leverage entrainment—the natural tendency for human movement and heart rates to sync with a steady beat—helping young children manage emotional regulation and group transitions smoothly.
Process Over Product: At the early childhood stage, exploration, curiosity, and joy take priority over formal performance. Mistakes are framed as creative variations, fostering a safe environment for self-expression.
Center-Funded (Flat Fee)
The center pays directly from its operational budget to include the music program for all students in a classroom. It serves as a turnkey, premium selling point that sets the preschool apart from competitors giving them professional instruction and specialized instruments without the overhead of hiring a full-time music teacher.
$75 – $120 / session (discounted block rates for back-to-back classes & multi-week terms)
Parent-Funded (Opt-In Elective)
Parents register and pay an individual weekly fee ($15–$18/child) for their child to participate during the school day. The center simply provides the space and receives a small facility fee or revenue split for hosting, making it a zero-cost way to add rich extracurricular options for families.
$15 – $18 per child / weekly session (10-child minimum per session)
Other Fees
If travel exceeds 15-20 miles, a flat $20 travel fee is added
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be refunded or made up, out of respect for the scheduled time slot. Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice will receive a makeup credit to be used within 30 days.
